Pelon Pelo Rico is a popular Mexican tamarind pulp candy with a sweet, sour, and slightly spicy taste. It has characteristic packaging – when pressed from the bottom, the candy mass comes out through small holes, creating "hair."

Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, tamarind pulp, water, iodized salt, chili powder, acidity regulator: citric acid (E330), flavorings, preservative: sodium benzoate (E211), thickener: E415 (xanthan gum), color: E150a (caramel), emulsifier: E322 (soy lecithin).
