El Yucateco Achiote Paste is a traditional Mexican spice paste made from annatto (achiote) seeds and aromatic spices. It gives dishes an intense red color and a characteristic, slightly spicy taste. It is perfect as a base for marinades for meat, poultry, fish or vegetables, as well as for dishes such as cochinita pibil, tacos al pastor, and sauces and rice.

Ingredients: water, corn flour, annatto (achiote) seeds approx. 22%, salt, garlic, spices, acidity regulator: acetic acid (E260), preservative: sodium benzoate (E211).
